VOORWAARDEN / CONDITIONS

 

By signing the contract, client agrees that Student Rooms Utrecht also has a contract with the landlord, which contract implies that Student Rooms Utrecht do some small work for the landlord, like doing small errands like new lightbulbs, meet maintenance men in the house, etc.

 

When you fill in the contact form you give Student Rooms Utrecht the order to start looking for a room. 

 

Once Student Rooms Utrecht has found a room for you, they will offer this to you.

 

When you are in Utrecht/The Netherlands already, we will organize a viewing if wanted.

 

When you agree to rent the room for a minimum duration of 6 month (or shorter if the landlord agrees) you will have to pay the fee à

€ 450 for a room or an apartment/house. To secure the accommodation we ask a down payment to the agency and to the landlord which will be deducted from the total payment.

 

Two weeks before checking into the room, the rest of the rent, deposit and agency fee will be paid by the client. If the client wishes to pay in cash, he/she will let this know in advance so we can make up the necessary papers. 

 

When Student Rooms Utrecht hasn't found a room for you, there are no costs to be paid by the client. 

 

Once the client has agreed to rent the offered room, he/she can expect the following service from us:

 

Make sure you will get the room

Make up the contract for you

Make sure this will be signed by the landlord or landlady

Send you info about the house, its location and where you can find everything (doctor etc.)

Due to the Covid19 virus we are not able to bring you to the house ourselves but we will do all we can to let you check in go as safe and smoothly as we can.

Check you in, keeping us at the Covid19 measurements at that time.

Show you around the house and explain everything you need to know

Provide you with the necessary papers for you to sign, like check in papers

Hand you the key

Answer all you questions

We are your contact while you are staying at the house (also in case of any emergency)

 

When you leave;

 

Check you out, keeping us at theCovid19 measurements at that time.

Provide you with the necessary papers for you to sign, like check out papers

Collect the key

Make sure you get deactivated at the city hall (if wanted)

Make sure you'll get your deposit back
